Mobile Account Solutions (Holdings) Ltd deliver bespoke mobile, telephone and hosted solutions to business across the United Kingdom. Our aim is to help businesses with the management of their communications in order to reduce expenditure and to improve efficiency. This is succeeded by providing customers with high-levels of support, offering a complete management solution that reduces the time business owners and IT managers often waste managing team communications.

Introduction

Modern slavery is a crime resulting in an abhorrent abuse of human rights. It is constituted in the Modern Slavery Act 2015 by the offences of ‘slavery, servitude and forced or compulsory labour’ and ‘human trafficking’.Over 21 million people around the world are trapped in some form of forced labour. For this reason, Mobile Account Solutions is dedicated to doing the best that we can to prevent and stop any unlawful behaviour taking place within our supply chain and business.

Supply Chain

We operate entirely in the United Kingdom and purchase all of our goods from UK based suppliers. However, some suppliers have their own individual suppliers. This can sometimes make the chain more complex so it becomes more difficult to ensure the compliance of every supplier. For this reason, we ensure that our purchasing team is well educated on the terms of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. Additionally, we are in the process of developing a compliance procedure to ensure that our suppliers understand the treatment that we will tolerateFinally, over 95% of our products come directly from global suppliers including BT, EE, Apple and Samsung. By law, these organisations must comply with the terms of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and we have examined their code of conducts to ensure that the relevant procedures are followed.

Ensuring compliance

We hold a strict policy which demands that employees and suppliers inform us if any wrongdoings have taken place in the past, or if there is a potential for there to be any incidents in the future. To ensure this, we have designated a Whistle-blower within our organisation. The Whistle-blower oversees the management of the business to ensure compliance within our supply chain and business. Our employees are able to inform the Whistle-blower of any concerns that they have with any members of our organisations, at any level of seniority.
